Lily is a senior anthropology student at the University of Missouri Columbia. In the summer of 2023, Lily was an REU intern at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, under the mentorship of Dr. Eric Hollinger, she collaborated with the Alaska Native Village of Igiugig to create 3D digital models and 3D physical replicas of selected items of cultural heritage. Two of the six replicas have returned to the Village of Igiugig. Currently, Lily is a Research Assistant for Dr. Medeia Csoba DeHass at the MU 3D Heritage Lab. She uses 3D technologies to create digital models of Arctic Indigenous Cultural Heritage for knowledge repatriation. In addition, Lily works as the NAGPRA Archaeological Technician for the University of Missouri Museum of Anthropology preparing Native American individuals for proper forthcoming burials.
